I'm Leafe, a socal local who owns and manages my own properties.

With a background in art and a passion for transforming unique properties into inviting spaces, I relocated from NYC to Joshua Tree with plans to build a tiny house on wheels, but life had other ideas! Instead, I took on the challenge of restoring an old cabin on a five-acre property. With no running water, no electricity, and barely a roof holding it together, it was quite the project!Once the renovation was complete, I settled into the cabin with my dogs until another exciting project came along in Palm Springs, California. And so it began!

I decided to open The 1954 Homestead Cabin in Joshua Tree to guests, giving others the opportunity to experience the unique magic of the desert. 

Life hasn't been the same since!

I love creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind spaces and sharing them with guests from all over the world. What started as a creative adventure has become a passion for hospitality, restoration, and bringing forgotten places back to life.
