We are Kat and Leafe, desert locals who manage our own properties.

Desert transplants who own and manage our own properties. Kat comes from the medical world and Leafe comes from an art background. We relocated from NYC to Joshua Tree, planning to build a tiny house on wheels, but instead, we rehabbed the cabin that came with a 5-acre property. It didn't have water, electricity, or barely a roof holding it together. Once it was completed, we lived in the cabin with our dogs until we bought another project in Palm Springs, California. So it began! We started renting The 1954 Homestead Cabin in Joshua Tree so others could enjoy the unique magic of Joshua Tree. Our lives have not been the same since! We love creating and sharing spaces with our guests from all over the world.
